Cannon & Cannon Adult Education Services, Inc. offers technology, Microsoft Office, and career workshops to help adults with low skills so that they can benefit from improved employment opportunities and enhanced family life, through strategic alliances with other nonprofit organizations.
Our technology workshops range from basic computer and Internet skills to more advanced skills like using the cloud. Our technology curriculum is suitable for learners with a wide range of skills and experience, from those who have never touched a computer before to those who know the basics and want to learn more.
Our Microsoft Office workshops address a specific set of skills learners may be interested in acquiring, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and using the cloud through both Microsoft and Google accounts. Each of our workshops is designed to ensure that learners build a solid foundation of basic skills before moving on to more complicated tasks.
"I am very grateful for the information on how to use the computer that Mr. Jarvis Cannon has taught me. The knowledge he has given me has improved my ability to use my computer. Now I can communicate better with my children’s teachers, friends, and people in my professional world. This will also give me the opportunity to improve my business."
We serve adults in the entire Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This includes Butts, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding, and Rockdale Counties.
GCDF credential holders are trained to help people, both individually and in a group setting, make informed decisions when considering their own career development. Through the use of best practices, various assessment tools, and career development models, GCDFs equip each individual with the knowledge and skills to embark on their professional journey.
